Simple Honey Toasted Oats

These simple toasted oats are crunchy, lightly sweet and made with everyday ingredients. Perfect for yoghurt bowls, breakfast or meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 200g rolled oats
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 50g vegetable oil
  • 50g honey

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to gas mark 2/150°C/130°C fan/300°F and line a large baking tray with baking paper.
  • Add the rolled oats and salt to a mixing bowl then give them a quick mix. In a small bowl, mix together the oil and honey. Pour the wet mixture over the oats and stir well until everything is evenly coated.
  • Spread the mixture onto the baking tray and bake for 45 minutes, stirring halfway through. Remove from the oven and allow the granola to cool completely on the tray.
