Dry the chicken wings with kitchen towel then add the chicken wings to a large bowl. Season them with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano and basil. Mix the seasonings into the chicken then add and mix in the baking powder, cornflour and oil.
Preheat the oven to gas mark 7/425oF/220oC/200oC fan then place a grill rack on top of a baking tray. Arrange the chicken wings on the grill rack ensuring there is space between them.
Bake the chicken in the top part of the oven for 45 - 50 minutes turning halfway through. Once the wings are cooked through, remove the wings from the oven and allow them to rest while you make the sauce.
Place a small pan on a medium heat. Add the butter to the pan and melt. Stir in the honey followed by the chilli flakes, hot sauce and lime juice. Allow to simmer for 4 - 5 minutes then remove from the heat and allow to cool for a few minutes.
Add the wings to a bowl then pour the hot honey sauce onto the chicken and toss. Allow to stand for 5 minutes then serve.
