- 1 tablespoon soy sauce reduced salt
- ½ teaspoon chilli oil
- ½ teaspoon rice vinegar
- ½ teaspoon soft brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- ½ teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
- ½ spring onion finely chopped
- ½ small garlic clove minced or ½ teaspoon garlic paste optional
Add the soy sauce, chilli oil, rice vinegar, soft brown sugar and ginger to a small bowl and mix until combined and the sugar dissolves.
Add in the sesame seeds, spring onion and garlic if using and mix well. Optionally, set aside for 10 minutes to allow the flavours to infuse then transfer to a sauce bowl for dipping or spoon over your dumplings.
